Can you lose weight without exercise? Absolutely. However, there are so many benefits to having some type of exercise in your routine. Even if it is minimal it is still good for you. It makes you feel better mentally and usually about 20 minutes into your exercise some of your best ideas can come to you. The struggle many of you face is not knowing what to do. So in this section I wanted to just give you a few ideas of what I do and how I decide what I’m going to do.
Cardio Exercise
Cardio exercise is important but you do not need to train for a marathon to help you get into shape. In fact, even if you just walk a few minutes every day it can help. But it also depends are where you are at in your journey. If you are just starting out then maybe set a goal to start with walking 10 minutes and then work to get that up to 30 minutes 4 or 5 days a week. I like to walk on a treadmill and use the incline feature to push me a little bit. But I have some knee issues and sometimes I need to take a few days off. It really just depends on what your body can do. But don’t let that be an excuse. It is really easy to tell yourself that your back hurts or your knee hurts and skip a week. Do your best to do at least a little every day. If you are consistent it will help speed up your weight loss. And also make you feel better in general.
